A geological ridge rises in Central Boulder creating a hilltop of sorts.  This land was developed into a residential subdivision in the early 1950’s.  The inherent value of this location has caused considerable renovation and redevelopment.  A few blocks south and you will find the east end of the Pearl Street Mall.  A few blocks west and you will find the popular Ideal Market shopping center area.
